Eteched brass petals

Figure 1 and figure 2 were my first attempt at etching and I etched them for an hour on the ferric chloride. I did not like how they came out, the veins are thicker in figure 1.

In figure 2, I wanted the negative space of the veins to stand out which I did not after etching. I decided not to continue with this one.

In figure 3, I etched them yesterday and they worked very well. After I took out the petals from Ferric Chloride I felt happy because it what I wanted to do. I wanted the veins to stand out. I etched the petals below for 20 minutes on the Ferric Chloride.
