Rome floral jewellery

Rome floral jewellery is a hand made jewellery and gold is one the metals they used to manufacture jewellery. The techniques that they are using are piercing, granulation and stamping. The two pictures below (figure 1 and 2), the floral motif (rosette) have been used to make jewellery. The plates of the floral motif in figure 1 have negative spaces which means that the plates have been pierced. I can also stylize a rose by piercing the negative spaces or etch to make floral jewellery. I do not want my jewellery to be heavy in terms of weight, therefore I will use thin plate of metal. In figure 2, the earrings are solid and they are stamped. I can also use different techniques like punching and chasing a plate of metal to imitate a rose and then make a mold to cast more of them to make floral jewellery.
