What extent organic and material can be incorporated to jewellery?

With my personal project I was trying to explore organic jewellery with material. My main focus on organics were roses. I was trying to create that realistic feel, that three-dimensional feel on the metal and material. I made two types of roses. The first rose I made, it was made out of metal. I forged the petals to achieve texture of the rose detail on the metal. I also domed it and curled the petals to get that 3D feel. The second rose I made, was made it out of ribbon and it also 3D. I wanted to incorporate material with metal. I haven't seen much of jewellery that have metal and material.
